StudioCoast Pty Ltd was an Australian web hosting company established in 2002, based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. It focused primarily on providing Windows-based web hosting solutions, including shared hosting and Hyper-V Virtual Private Servers (introduced in 2009), alongside domain registration services. The company emphasized customer service and technical expertise, developing its own in-house control panel, hostControl, in 2008. StudioCoast supported various ASP.NET versions, Classic ASP, PHP, SQL, and MySQL, catering mainly to users requiring Windows environments. They highlighted robust backup solutions, including online, offsite, and offline disaster recovery backups, utilizing RAID for hardware protection. Their infrastructure was located in Brisbane and Sydney data centers. However, in early 2021, StudioCoast partnered with Conetix Pty Ltd, another Queensland-based hosting provider, to migrate its web hosting customers. StudioCoast's original hosting website (studiocoast.com.au) now redirects to Conetix or focuses on its other major product, vMix. StudioCoast Pty Ltd continues to operate, primarily focusing on its vMix live video production and streaming software, which was initially released in 2010.
