Ibercom, originally founded in 1997 as World Wide Web Ibercom, S.A., started as a Spanish telecommunications and internet services provider primarily focusing on the business sector. It offered services like ADSL/SDSL internet access, domain registration (IberDNS), web hosting, virtual and dedicated servers, data center services, and telephony. Ibercom gained visibility by listing on Spain's Alternative Stock Market (MAB) in March 2012. A significant transformation occurred in 2014 when Ibercom merged with MásMóvil, creating the MásMóvil Ibercom group (now Grupo MásMóvil). This merger marked the beginning of a rapid expansion phase through further acquisitions, integrating companies like Quantum Telecom, Xtra Telecom, Neo, Embou, Pepephone, and Yoigo. Ibercom's operations and services, particularly those targeting businesses (hosting, data centers, cloud, VPN, connectivity), became a core part of Grupo MásMóvil's enterprise division, now largely operating under the MásMóvil Empresas brand. While the Ibercom brand itself is less prominent today, its legacy infrastructure and business focus contribute significantly to Grupo MásMóvil's comprehensive B2B offerings across Spain, leveraging the group's extensive fixed fiber and mobile (4G/5G) network infrastructure.
