Hostway is a long-standing global web hosting and technology infrastructure company founded in 1998 by University of Chicago alumni Lucas Roh, John Lee, and Arnold Choi after acquiring Spectronet Inc. Initially focused on the US market, Hostway rapidly expanded globally, starting with Hostway Korea in 2000 and establishing offices and data centers across North America, Europe, and Asia. The company provides a wide array of hosting services catering to individuals, small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), and large corporations. Their offerings include shared hosting (Linux and Windows), VPS hosting, dedicated servers, cloud hosting (public, private, and hybrid under the FlexCloud brand), managed hosting, email hosting (including Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365), domain registration, and website building tools. Hostway emphasizes reliable infrastructure, customizable solutions, and 24/7 customer support. They built significant data centers, including one in Chicago's Boeing International headquarters. In January 2019, Hostway Services Inc. merged with Hosting.com, and the combined entity rebranded as Ntirety in September 2019. Ntirety subsequently launched NetNation in 2019 as a web service solutions provider for SMBs, with Hostway becoming part of the NetNation family of brands, continuing its focus on web services for innovators and entrepreneurs.
