Originally established in South Korea, it relocated its headquarters to Singapore in late 2018. The company provides technology, network infrastructure, and customer services to accelerate and secure the delivery of internet content and applications worldwide. Its infrastructure boasts over 2,800 Points of Presence (PoPs) across more than 70 countries, with a significant presence in challenging markets like China and Russia, as well as emerging markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. CDNetworks offers a diverse portfolio including web performance optimization, media delivery (live and VOD streaming), cloud security services (DDoS protection, WAF, bot management, API security, Zero Trust access), DNS hosting, edge computing solutions (like Edge Application and Edge Containers), and colocation services. Key differentiators include its extensive global network reach, particularly strong footing in APAC, specialized solutions for industries like gaming and e-commerce, and 24/7 customer support. Acquired by Japanese Telco KDDI in 2011, CDNetworks was subsequently bought by Wangsu Science & Technology in 2017.
