The company "AKNET" appeared on the ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) market in Kyrgyzstan in 1998 as the Academic Network. That is where the name AK-NET came from. The primary task of "AKNET" was to provide access to the Internet for universities and research institutes in Kyrgyzstan. Today we have managed to ensure that almost 90% of the country's higher education institutions are part of our network. Work is underway to connect schools. "AKNET" plans to bring 75 secondary schools in the Chui region into the network. Having extensive experience in providing communications services, in 2008 the company began to develop and offer complex IP video surveillance systems installed on the basis of a fiber-optic network and modern digital equipment, using the most advanced technologies in the field of security. During the same period, services such as IP / SIP telephony and multi-channel video conferencing began to be developed using Voice/IP and multimedia conferencing technologies . In 2011, the company "AKNET" launched innovative digital television iTV AKNET . This is not only more than 200 TV channels in excellent digital quality, but also a package of interactive services that transform the TV from a static "box" into a living instrument that meets the wishes of the viewer. We are one of the first companies to start connecting the private sector. Since 2014, a new project has been launched to globally connect the private sector to high-speed Internet and digital television on favorable terms. Also, in 2014, a branch of the AKNET company was opened in the southern region, where subscribers can connect the Internet + digital television in Osh. "AKNET" is a participant in global projects such as the "Virtual Silk Road", which unites Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, as well as the countries of the Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia).
